Dr. Muhammad Yunus Casts Vote, Calls It a “Day of Liberation” for Bangladesh

Dhaka, — Chief Advisor of People’s Republic of Bangladesh Dr. Muhammad Yunus cast his vote in the 13th National Parliamentary Election and concurrent referendum today, declaring it a moment of profound joy and national transformation.

Speaking to reporters after voting at Gulshan Model High School in the capital, Dr. Yunus said, “Today is a day of great happiness in my life. We now have the opportunity to create a new Bangladesh. With this, we have completely rejected the nightmare of the past.”

He described the day as a symbolic rebirth for the nation, urging citizens to celebrate it as the country’s “birthday.” “Let us all come together in celebration. This is a day of liberation for everyone in Bangladesh. The nightmare is ending, and a new beginning is unfolding,” he added.

Referendum Seen as Turning Point

Dr. Yunus emphasized the significance of the referendum, stating that it holds the power to reshape the country. “This vote is extremely important. It will change the entire landscape of Bangladesh. I urge everyone to participate so we can build a new nation together.”

A Call for Unity and Renewal
